Creating a brand identity, website and web app for a London FinTech startup that helps migrant workers send money home to their families.
Paysnapp was a money transfer app built to serve migrant communities, offering the most competitive exchange rates available and tailoring their service to hardworking heroes sending money home to their families.
We partnered with Paysnapp pre-launch, renaming and rebranding the company before building their online platform from the ground up. Our team came up with a new visual identity, brand vision and marketing materials, and built a fully functional payment system. We had to overcome the difficulty of convincing people unaccustomed to sending money online to trust an unknown brand with their pay-check. Our strategy was to adopt an open, easy to understand and friendly design language, built with less technically literate users in mind.
Alongside this we also had to convey the efficiency, innovation and cutting edge nature of Paysnapp’s offering, to compete with that of their well-funded competitors: Tranferwise, Azimo, Moneygram and Western Union. It was an amazing challenge, and a privilege, to work on a project designed to further such a worthwhile cause.
